The more you learn about mind and body connections, the more you will understand that in order to perform at your best in any situation you really need to be calm. It is shown with the latest brain mapping techniques that when we are emotionally aroused i.e. upset, angry, nervous etc we are limiting our brain power by reducing the use of the parts of the brain that are essential to our memories and rational thought. In plain English, when we are emotional we are stupid! Quite literally!

So common sense tells us that in order for us to think clearly in an exam and use all our available intelligence, we must be calm. So how do we achieve calm when we are stressed? That is what my exam clinic will teach you. I will give you practical skills that will help you relax and we will rehearse your success using guided imagery. These skills and techniques are proven and widely used among people of all walks of life, especially most professional sportsmen and women and athletes of all types!

So when the day of your exams arrive you will have slept well the night before, you will have enjoyed a healthy appetite for breakfast, you will be able to laugh and be happy in the hours leading up to the exam, and when you finally sit down to take your exam you will be calm and confident which will enable you to access all the knowledge you have learned.

These are not magical techniques to guarantee straight A's, but they will give you the ability to perform at your best!
